The fact that she lacked information at critical points was the genesis of the situation. This worried her because ends needed to be met but the means were unavailable. She finally got the opportunity to come to WAVE through the recommendation of a friend and decided to go on with the program, as the Ajah centre which she attended, was not much of a distance to her place of abode.  The fact that she hungered for more knowledge about skills relating to better opportunities with respect to the hospitality industry was her drive. At WAVE, she learnt skills in communication and was willing to know more about the things that were not clear to her. Though her expectations were high, she did not lose sight of what she wanted out of the experience.
