Before then he was a clearing and forwarding agent at Tincan Island in Apapa but left the job because of the fall of the naira against major currencies which began to affect the price of importation . He applied to WAVE after Kelechi assured him that he would get a job as long as he was ready to go through the training. In the last week of the programme,Adebayo job shadowed at The orchid Bistro restaurant in Ikeja where he learnt the do's and don'ts of setting a table and how to usher in customers. He heard about WAVE through town storming (an outreach activity) and immediately applied for the programme. Resuming early was the most challenging aspect of the programme for Tunde who struggled with waking up early but was encouraged by a friend. Tunde secured a job at Virgin Rose Resort during his job shadow (a one-week period of unpaid internship for trainees).
